Dr. Alok Goyal graduated with a doctoral degree in Civil from University of California at Berkeley, specializing in Structural Engineering. Apart from having numerous publications, Dr. Goyal has also been a consultant to a large number of firms including Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd, Oil and Natural Gas Commission Ltd and DHV Consultants, Netherlands. Dr. Goyal is also a member of the review committee for Indian Standards and has been an advisor to the Govt. of Maharashtra.

Raj is registered as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of California and has extensive knowledge of US building codes including the IBC, CBC, ACI 318, AISC 360 and NDS. He has worked on several steel, reinforced concrete and wood design projects in California and India. He is an expert in the standard structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP and Perform 3D.
